CSK beat DC to qualify for the semis. They will be the only southern city to be present in the Semis. Other Qualifiers include Delhi Daredevils, Mohali – Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.
With their victory the Chennai Super Kings sealed the fate of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians chances of qualifying depended on CSK losing their match against DC. Then they had to win against the RCB.
