CSK slumped to another defeat today against the Resurgent Rajasthan Royals. The CSK team sorely needs match winners this season. None of the top billed players are playing upto their potential. The lack of star players like David Hussey and Dhoni for a few matches may also be hurting the side.

Rajasthan Royals are looking and getting better and better with every match. Yusuf Pathan showed how he can single handedly take a side apart when he hit his 37 ball hundred. Now, after he has been figured out by the bowlers he is showing his value with ball and in the field. Every match that Royals have won has Yusuf Pathan contributing in some way to the victory. Hats off to this giant of a man who can make things happen.

What a sensational innings it was from Harbhajan. He came in when the Mumbai Indians were tottering at 120 for 7 and with his controlled power hittings reduced the Chargers bowling to pulp. Almost his every shot was touching the fence for 4 or 6. If Mumbai Indians win today the credit should go to the Turbanator who showed he can shine with the bat too when his side most needed it.!!

When Hayden scored 93 in 43 balls, critics were of opinion that he will repeat his performance in his next match also. When Rajasthan Royals performed badly lot of adverse comments were made and it was written off from the ensuing completions. Similar comments were made about Kings XI Punjab. But both won matches subsequently and proved that their critics are not always right.
Kings XI Punjab in their fourth match made modest 136 runs in requisite 20 overs, losing eight wickets. The main contributors for KXIP were Ifran Pathan and Yuvaraj Sing. Ifran Pathan’s made 39 (32b, x4, 1×6) and Yuvraj 43 (28b, 4×4, 2×6).
Chennai Supper Kings resumed chasing the target of 137 runs affirmatively and when they made 96 for two, the victory for CSK was clearly visible on the wall. The match appeared one sided one. There after KXIP with their fine bowling and fielding restricted their opponent at the score of 136 for seven wickets in prescribed 20 overs. This has necessitated for ‘Super Over’.    
In the super over bowl out, CSK made nine runs off the bowling of Juan Theron by losing two of their three nominated batsmen — Matthew Hayden (0) and captain Suresh Raina (8) — while Albie Morkel made one.
Batting second, Kings XI Punjab, Mahela  Jayawardene batted first. He hit six in the first ball and was out in second ball. Coming second Yuvraj hit four facing the fourth ball surpassing the 9 runs scored by their opponent. The bowler for CSK was Muttai Muralitharan.
KXIP made 10 in four balls of Supper Over. Their third nominated batsman Ifran Pathan could not get chance to bat.
