When we think of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, we think of a Record Making Machines.

Sachin is one of the greatest Indian batsmen, sorry , he is one of greatest International batsman of all times. Well, maybe Bradman comes on top, but Sachin is only one who gets close to him.

Is it right to call Sachin a Record Making Machines?

No, we can’t call him a Record Making Machines.

Record Making Machines, if at all any thing like that it will would have limitations, as they would have been designed and made by human being. Such machines would produce only such records for which they are designed.

Can then we think of some thing else? Yes, the kitchen of Balaji temple at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. No. Even in this kitchen ever record breaking quantities / number of items are prepared but limited varieties of items. I think Hundi of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam fits perfectly. When Sachin comes on the field records wait for him to crack. Yesterday when he came on the field, there were two records were waiting for him to be aided to his name and he did it. One record he needed aid 15 runs to his most runs scored to surpass Lara’s record of 11,953 runs. This feat he achieved after tea. The Second one was to score 12,000 runs. None of the batsman in the history of Test cricket has achieved this target. He has scored 12,027 and become the first batsman to score and cross 12,000 runs mark. Well done Sachin!!!!
