Indian Premier League Cricket

The only player representing Zimbabwe in the IPL will be Tatenda Taibu. He is a short, lively wicket-keeper and solid batsman, and is also capable of bowling right arm off spin. Tatenda Taibu had to end his international  career at the ripe old age of just 22 because of the differences with his board. He was critical of the way cricket in Zimbabwe was being run. Many of team mates had already left the team after facing discrimination. When he spoke out against Cricket officials he and his family received death threats. He is one of the few good players in the Zimbabwe side. Unable to take threats he left Zimbabwe and now plays in South Africa for Clubs.

He will one of the Knight Riders of Kolkata as he was signed up by the Kolkata Team.
