11 minutes to change your life

by Dr.Mani on July 25, 2008

RE-TWEET IT!

Does this sound dramatic?

It is.  And it isn’t.

It’s about a man I deeply admire and respect.

A man who died yesterday.

His name is Randy Pausch.

He touched my life through a presentation termed
“The Last Lecture”.

In a re-done shortened version of it on the Oprah
show, Randy summarized the gist of his 47 minute
presentation at Carnegie Mellon University.

Watch it.

Believe me – your life will NEVER be the same again.

It is 11 minutes long.

It will seem longer.

Much longer.

As long as life itself.

Here’s the link: click here to view “The Last Lecture”

Hope you find it of some use.

R.I.P. Randy Pausch.  The world will miss your wisdom.

Dr. Mani,

It keeps me humble as I listened
once again to Randy’s Last Lecture.

Yes I’ll choose to be a Tigger…

and Work and Play Well with Others…

Remembering to have FUN everyday!

1. Tell the Truth!

2. Apologize (properly)

3. Wait, and people will show their good side.

4. Show Gratitude

5. Not complaining, just working harder

Really valuable, nothing could be simpler than this lecture, and care he showed towards his lovely kids.

God bless him.
