My work these days is broadly divided into 3 categories.
As heart surgeon, I operate on little children with congenital heart disease.
As fund raiser, I seek donations from generous supporters to make this possible.
As infopreneur, I write (e-)books and sell them to raise more money for surgery.
Late last night, I lay awake wondering if this 3 way split was making me less effective in ALL three areas. And if doing one alone might not be more powerful.
But they’re all inter-linked… and that’s my dilemma.
Any thoughts or solutions that may help make me more effective?

As heart surgeon, I operate on little children with congenital heart disease.>> Give them the ebooks to read while recovering after their operation, to inspire their enterprising endeavors.
As fund raiser, I seek donations from generous supporters to make this possible. >> Put advertisements in your ebooks at the end of your ebooks and also paypal donation buttons on “thank you” pages after sales
As infopreneur, I write (e-)books and sell them to raise more money for surgery. >> Reach those who wish to donate more by action than funds, ask them to recommend your ebooks to their contacts.

My advice is to focus your energy in the direction of your passion. I have read your mission and know that your ultimate purpose is to save children’s lives! By focusing your time and energy to the areas you are most passionate, your impact can soar.
If your passion is performing heart surgeries, then that is where you apply most of your energy and find ways of recruiting others to raise the funds and awareness to support it. If your passion is doing infopreneuring, focus in this area to raise more funds and find other heart surgeons to do the operations.
By the way, I know this is easier said than done. It seems like I struggle with spreading myself too thin on a daily basis.
Focus on your purpose and passion to change the world.
Doc!
I cannot question you.
Living next door in SriLanka – you understand the reciprocation
in respect.
Nevertheless, I could yet, get into a dialogue.
Why a “3 way split” instead of a “3 pronged attack”.
(PLEASE NOTE THE MISSING ? MARK)
What am I – to talk to YOU about – “Sun Tzu & The Art of War”.
I’ve been reading your works very much from Dec 2008 – seriously.
Am I allowed to use some of your own words – Please.
Passion, Purpose & processes.
You have Doc, decided on the processes.
You know, you have the fire inside.
Why let the processes go outward – what if they do a 180 turn
in order to meet at the – can I call it the Heart Center.
In a situation of change & direction – after many years of lackadaisical living, I’ve begun to see, that the directions are always on opposite sides – simple as a straight line, & the only angular measurement, being a 180.
We are doing all this with the Binary System – the Mighty Zero & One.
Why shouldn’t that logic work for the master – at least – may I say – at tmes like this – lay awake wondering.
You need all three to be powerful & you are wondering whether it’s making you less effective in all three areas as well.
Why not visualise & dream about what Henry Ford would have done.
Sure, in a similar scenario, with every thing being constant,
he would have changed direction of his mission (processes) to wards his vision (purpose).
