4 Things I Do Daily on Twitter

by Dr.Mani on March 28, 2009

RE-TWEET IT!

Every day I’m on Twitter – and I do 4 things real quick.

#1 – I scan my personal timeline, to see what folks I follow are tweeting.

#2 – I click on @Replies to see if anyone has tweeted at me.

#3 – I read my Twitter Direct Messages… and woe betide anyone who has sent me an Automated DM on Twitter

#4 – I type in “@drmani” into the “Search now” box, to see if anyone else is tweeting ABOUT me!

That’s it. It takes around 10 minutes, often less. That’s how I do Twitter in 10 minutes a day.

Dr.Mani,

FYI- I use TweetDeck to do exactly what you describe (although I spend more than 10 minutes on it some days). I have a column set up for each of the 4 areas you describe. That way I can see each of these at a glance on my computer screen. I also have columns set up for searches on topics I’m interested in such as fundraising and photography.

I agree with Roger!

Tweetdeck makes it SO much easier to sort out topics, people and keywords.
