by Dr.Mani on December 29, 2008

RE-TWEET IT!

* Gail Goodwin – who inspires me every day with astonishing things she dreams up – and carries out (glad I’ll be meeting her in 2009)

.

* Anne P Mitchell – who is one of few people I really feel like I *know* through Twitter alone

.

* Jeanette Fisher – who passionately supports my CHD work and the ‘Caring House Project’

.

* Jenny the Bloggess – who makes me laugh out loud almost daily with her (wacky? weird?) brand of humor and amazingly creative blogs

.

* Guy Kawasaki – who touched my life with a brief message, “Make Meaning”

.

So, who is on YOUR list? Please share.

Dear Dr. Mani,

I am indeed honored to be included in such a list! Thank you!

You are one of my 5 for 2008- and I’m not waiting any longer to meet you! We’re coming to India on the GlobalHugTour.com in 2009 and I can’t wait to not only give you a great big hug, but hug thousands of the children you’ve saved, and leave a check for you to continue the amazing work you do.

Dr. Mani, you are one of those incredible gifts to this planet. I am so very grateful to know you and share this world with you. The world is a better place because you are here.

Thank you again for this honor of being included on your list.

With gratitude, love and hugs,

Gail

Dr Mani,

Thank you. When my daughter died because of heart complications, I wanted to die too. I know that you didn’t even know about Sara when we met on Twitter. I had been getting your newsletters off and on for years. I don’t even know how you found me on Twitter. It had something to do with Design Psychology. You asked me if I wanted to met Frank McKinney.

It was the designer part of me who got to go meet Frank and see his lovely 100 million dollar houses and the villages he builds in Haiti. It is the mother in me that wants to help other families avoid the heartache of losing a child.

So, even thought we have only met on the Internet, our hearts are connected by two great causes: children with heart problems and homeless families.

You made a huge impact in my life by helping me get on with living.

I look forward to working with you in 2009. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Joy~

Jeanette
