I’ve just released my first Internet marketing STORY. It’s called “Pam Meets a Guru”.
It’s the first ever I.M. story of its kind
(I think) !
I felt like starting this note with: “It Will Make HISTORY”… but that would be violating John Reese’s copyright!
Then, I hit upon this: “Now, you can call me Dr.AESOP”… but that’s too close to Mark Joyner’s old company, Aesop.com!
So finally I decided to just come right out and say it in as simple and hype-free a fashion as possible.
“Pam Meets a Guru” is a story I wish someone had told me when
I got started trying to sell stuff on the Web.
It’s a story that’ll speak directly to every newbie who’s still there – and every expert who has got beyond there.
Here are a few comments from early reviewers (you can read them in full on the testimonials page here)

I love stories and metaphors, they make learning so much easier.
And Pam and the Guru is well told!I congratulate you on taking a problem which is experienced by so
many people new to internet marketing and explaining it in such a
practical, easy to understand and ENTERTAINING way.Great Job!

I just finished reading “Pam Meets a Guru” and I want to tell you
I found it very entertaining! I like that it’s written in story
form, rather than in “how to” format. It makes it easier to read
and understand.Denise Hall – http://www.Recipe-For-IM-Success.com

The rest are along the same lines. People enjoy reading stories. And learn from them better.
All day long yesterday, I hesitated. Didn’t know whether to sell the story, or give it away.
On the one hand, I want many people to read it. On the other, I need cash to fund the promotion so many will get to hear about it.
Finally, I found a ‘compromise’ solution. What if YOU helped spread the word – of course, after you first read the book, and only if you LOVE it – and that way I can ‘afford’ to give it away?
Hmm… let’s test that.
For the first 100 downloads, I’m going to keep this free. By then, I’ll have a fair idea of the ‘pass along’ rate.
If the numbers work out, I’ll leave it free – just as my other hot book, “How To Cross The Road” has now been downloaded over THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED times – without spending a penny on advertising, or a minute on promoting after the first 2 days!
So go on, download “Pam Meets a Guru” – and if you enjoyed reading it, do 2 things…
1. come back here and leave a comment, and
2. tell a friend about it
