Over the next couple of weeks, we’re going to do something interesting here at ‘Money.Power.Wisdom‘

Just about everyone with a Web presence today wants a blog.  And most of them want to get started YESTERDAY!

While a blog doesn’t need too much preparation and planning to get launched, you can MULTIPLY your impact by charting out a basic blueprint before you publish your first words on it… and that’s the theme of this course…

   “2 Weeks To Launch Your Blog”

Starting tomorrow, I’m going to detail the steps I go through before launching a new blog.  It is based on a real case study – a new blog for my Congenital Heart Defects project, the Heart Kids Blogathon.

And to make this exercise more challenging and exciting, I’m setting myself a launch date target that’s 2 weeks away.

The mission: To launch a new blog in 2 weeks… and do it quickly, efficiently and develop it most profitably.

What we’ll talk about is how to do it, step by step – the planning, the preparing and the execution.

We’ll cover:

• Blogging STRATEGY – the often ignored phase that defines the future success or failure of any new blog, and includes identifying your blog’s purpose, creating a mission and goals document for your blog, and integrating it into everything you do with it.
• Blog STRUCTURE – the technical side of blogging, involving the choice of platform, setting up your blog’s structure for maximum impact, the plug-ins and tools you’ll use to get widest exposure or highest visitor value and more.
• Blog CONTENT – this is most critical to your blog’s success – the consistency, quality and nature of the content you’ll keep adding.  We’ll talk about all angles and elements of content creation for your blog.
• Blog PROFITS – how to get the most bang from your blog.  Ideas galore about blog monetization.
• Blogging PROCESS – the best, most effective tactics to make your blog Google (and Yahoo and MSN) bait, using simple yet powerful tweaks.
• Blog MARKETING – how to make sure your blog isn’t an inhabitant of the blogosphere’s graveyard, but is instead lively, active and widely read.
