It seems like you’ve had a wonderful holiday by staying in a glorious place. I’ve found that it’s often true — where you stay, and who you interact with can make a huge difference in the total experience. And this is a good lesson for all of us.

I’m so pleased that you and your family were able to get away for a superb holiday, staying with people who cared about sharing hospitality.

Well, if that wasn’t a pleasure to read.

My first thoughts were, “Great! I’m glad he was able to shut down and get away with his family.”

Obviously, delivering any level of a “wow” experience is good to think about in terms of adding value to whatever we do whether that be in the relationship or business realms.

Good questions to reflect on, though, early in the day as I look toward building better relationships in business and in life.
