These words caught my attention "And the dream he narrates in the end, of his father carrying a light to dispel the gloom, overtaking him in the darkness -".

You did pull out something from your personal diary in 1984.

Would you allow me as well - this is from my own,

by E. Stanley Jones:
"I am still an evangelist. I bow to mahatma Gandhi, but I kneel at the feet of Christ and give him my alegiance. And yet a little man who faught a system in the framework of which I stand, has taught me more of the spirit of Christ than perhaps any other man in East or West.
This book is a symbol of gratitude."

Dr. Mani

TIME: 7:24 PM

Hum!

You had me drop "mon sandwich.":)

First I must confess that I too write
"post it reminders - ramblings et al..."

I'm a fan of "Sheriff" - "westerns"
& "Tommy Lee Jones"...

I'll definitely take the time to watch
"No Country For Old Men"

No later than this Monday night Jacques Attali
(born in 1943 - scholar, economist, former advisor
to President François Miterrand) wrote a post for
l'Express Magazine on the "Current Crisis" which
"stopped me dead in my tracks!"

I got in contact with "the yound man" right away...
at 11:00 PM...asking IF I could help!

I received a short text message from his BlackBerry®:

"Of course! Do It!"

In the same way Dr. Mani your last 2 posts made me
"stop dead in my tracks."

These 2 splendid posts were worthy of my attention,
and I willingly want to digest and spread them.

Indeed a great reflection on "Good versus evil"
...and fighting on...even when:

"Triumph is neither guaranteed, or even probable. "

As we ALL know the PLAYER opposite US is TIME.

Please doc, Keep them coming!

Cordialement

P.S: Great quote by Alistair Maclean...

He summed up the dilemma all too well!
