Inertia is the state of existence in the same state.
To move out of it takes energy.
Passion is energy.
It jolts you out of a rut. It gets you moving. It keeps you going.
Any endeavour, project or mission you set out to accomplish, when backed by passion, is pre-destined to succeed. In time.
Passion will keep you going until that time.
Without a driving force, it is easy to jump ship before port is in sight. Far too often, ‘failure’ is a result of premature abandonment rather than futile effort.
When you lack passion, it is easy to give up. And when you have it, it is almost impossible to do so.
Because passion is energy.
Energy powers and fuels action.

Love to talk on Physical Scienc with a Doctor of Medicine who has dwelled in to Heart Surgery – Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
Taking from the early part of your discourse Sir,

What does passion do, in it’s original state of potent.
Yea – it will make a thing move out.
What happens to that which sets in to motion, if energy is just sufficient to keep it going at the same state – same speed.
It’s again in a state of Inertia – ARGUABLY.
Eureka!
The guy who wrote “The Naked Manager” (1995), never said it.
With friction along the way – that which is in motion will eventually stop – to state of Inertia.

Well then, we need a little bit more energy than the amount we set out with, to change the state being, that is eventually being arrived at.
“Come on dileepa -What’s this – you are changing the scenario from “inanimate” to “animate”.
“Hang on please! – if you really want to understand me, kick your self to learn a foreign language”.

Back to the state of being – Inertia – moving on at constant speed.

Snails space OR jet speed.
Snails speed – too boring for people who do not believe that “Speed kills.
Then, an increase in speed would be desired.
That increment in speed from moment to moment – is referred as velocity.
Who knows – we’ll be so charged up – speed will rise, even up to that of a rocket.
Ahh! where am I ?
Inertia, Speed, Velocity, the Boring Speed of a Snail & now, That of a Rocket.
How illuminating it is for me, to think in these terms.
Me, desolate me who wanted change.
I am getting it slowly.
I am wondering why the hell I did not pursue Rocket Science.
