In 2 hours this morning, I engaged in mini-conversations with some people. People with influence. People like:Maki of DoshDosh.com – one of my favorite A-list bloggers and an authority on social media marketing:

Darren Rowse of Problogger – another A-list blogger I’ve had the pleasure of networking with on Twitter, and that has already translated into having my guest blog post published on his popular blog:

Joel Comm of Next Internet Millionaire fame is an old friend. I lost touch with him thanks to email’s fickleness – and it’s Twitter to the rescue!

 Jeff ‘Mr.Product Launch’ Walker is another friend who is hard to get hold of through any other electronic communication channel – except Twitter.

Aaron Brazell is someone I met (and now follow) on Twitter. His popular Technosailor blog interests me in many ways.

Tony Blake is one of the original Internet marketing gurus. His popular Blake Boards forum is where many newbies cut their teeth.

Chris ‘Sparky’ Knight of EzineArticles.com reknown is another old friend I’ve caught up with on Twitter.

 Chris Brogan is the Rockstar of Social Media and Networking. A new friend I found on Twitter, and who has taught me a lot already.

Alice Seba is the Internet Marketing Sweetie. She writes a valuable blog and it’s nice to communicate often with her on Twitter.

Conservatively, these 9 people together have a reach of close to ONE MILLION people.

They have influence.

And I can tap into that influence on Twitter.
